How Living Out of Alignment Could Be Amplifying Your ADHD Symptoms

For those of us with ADHD untangling the complicated web of conditioning vs ADHD symptoms vs who we really are beneath it all is a journey not previously talked about. It is my belief that the conditioning experienced through the "open centres" can actually make ADHD symptoms appear to be worse than they are in a particular individual. This journey of self discovery is a critical piece if we are looking to flourish with our ADHD and create a life where it no longer controls the narrative.

 

 

Ra Uru Hu said that we are MORE likely to experience disease in the body, and die earlier than our genetic potential, when living out of alignment as it increases resistance (stress) on the body.

It is when we are constantly fighting against our natural tendencies or living according to societal expectations rather than our authentic self, our bodies experience higher levels of stress. This chronic stress has a significant impact on the immune system, increasing inflammation and further amplifying the symptoms of ADHD.

 

 

Recent research has highlighted a strong link between stress, inflammation, and ADHD. A study found that individuals with ADHD often have higher levels of inflammatory proteins when exposed to chronic stress. This inflammatory response can worsen symptoms such as anxiety, impulsivity, and inattention, creating a cycle that is hard to break.

By understanding the connection between your design, stress, and ADHD symptoms, you can make more aligned choices that honour your unique path. By understanding this connection you can, as well, begin to unravel the tangled web of what is actual ADHD symptoms, what is your ADHD, and what is truly aligned for you.

While I had been slowly growing it through 2024 I will be focusing on weekly episodes now as I build out my research, coaching, & frameworks specifically for women with ADHD.

What many may not realize is that I started out as a counsellor in the mental health field prior to burning out . I wish I had this information earlier to work with kids, teens, & adults who were struggling with their mental health. My goal, long term, is to work within the mental health field to change the way we work with individuals with ADHD. My goal, short term, is to begin proving my frameworks reduce stress, create greater alignment, & lessen ADHD symptoms in adults with ADHD.
